The automotive industry currently faces many challenges. Billions are being invested in new technologies such as electromobility. At the same time, important markets like China are becoming less profitable.
What are the crucial factors that determine the future viability and efficiency in automobile production? What role do production systems play in plants and digitization – from innovative assistance systems and additive manufacturing to smart data analytics? TUM students can learn more about these and other issues during the second public lecture at TUM held by Oliver Zipse, CEO of the BMW Group – one of the most valuable brands in the world.
The lecture is part of a whole seminar taught by the CEO at the TUM School of Management this semester.
