Board of Trustees elects Prof. Dr. Claudia Peus new vice president to Board of Management
The Board of Trustees of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) has unanimously elected Prof. Dr. Claudia Peus, professor for Research and Science Management and Vice Dean for Executive Education to become Senior Vice President Talent Management and Diversity. The medical scientist Prof. Dr. Juliane Winkelmann will become the second Vice President. She was elected to become the new Senior Vice President International Alliances and Alumni.
October 1 marks the beginning of the three-year period in office for the members of the Board of Management, nominated by President Wolfgang A. Herrmann.
Prof. Peus has been professor for Research and Science Management at TUM School of Management since 2011. In 2014 she became Vice Dean for Executive Education, covering continuing education MBA programs. She researches and teaches HR management and leadership with a focus on scientific institutions and has gained international academic experience at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University.
The Executive Education Center(EEC) combines TUM School of Management´s further education activities and offers first class executive education and a variety of certificate programs ranging from private equity to employer branding.
Prof. Peus is now looking forward to build on the expertise gained as Vice Dean of Executive Education at the Executive Education Center (EEC) and use the synergy effects between her old and new position in order to shape her new resort.
