Finding creative solutions and alternative concepts in times of Corona have led to innovative approaches and new business models. The pandemic requires problem-oriented thinking, flexibility and commitment in all areas of life, even more so in the business sector. Therefore, the TUM Management Alumni e.V. tackled the topic of “Corona Success Stories” at their annual Alumni Networking event, which took place for the first time online on October 15, 2020.

Fives start-ups presented their ideas, explained how the pandemic hit their business, what new concepts emerged and how they came up with optimized solutions. Many of the solutions where adapted to tackle the Corona crisis itself such as a newly founded streaming-service with individual options or an online platform for mental well-being. More than 80 members of the Alumni association attended the networking event and got the opportunity to get in direct touch with the start-up entrepreneurs. All start-ups were founded or co-funded by TUM-Alumni! The exchange even led to new ideas on both sides.
