Dr. rer. pol. Johanna Jauernig received the Award for doctoral thesis and habilitation of the Bund der Freunde
On December 7, Mrs. Dr. rer. pol. Johanna Jauernig received the Award for doctoral thesis, awarded by the Bund der Freunde (BdF) of the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The BdF has been awarding prizes for outstanding doctoral theses and dissertations with 1,500 Euros since 1979. The winners are proposed by the Deans of the individual faculties. Johanna Jauernig studied Philosophy at the LMU Munich and did her doctorate at TUM School of Management. In her dissertation, she examined the application of economic experiments in ethics.
The BdF connects people who are close to the Technical University of Munich, for example students, staff, professors, alumni and supporters. The members of the BdF are eager to engage in science and research and to promote the younger generation as well as the university culture.
