Public Ring Lecture on Digitization

An event every week that begins at 6:00pm on Tuesday, repeating until 25 Jul 2017

In cooperation with the Munich Center for Internet Research and supported by the Zentrum Digitalisierung.Bayern, the Faculty of Computer Sciences of the Technical University of Munich will be offering a series of public lectures on the subject of digitization. The topic is to be viewed from the perspective of different disciplines in order to achieve an overlapping and interdisciplinary understanding of the matter.

All lectures will be held on Tuesday evenings, at 6pm in the lecture hall 2 of the mathematics/ computer sciences building, in the Boltzmannstraße 3, in Garching.

The opening lecture will be held next Tuesday, April 25, by Rainer Janssen, former CEO of Munich Re on “Digitization: Hype, Horror Scenarios and Possible Realities”
