EXIST Start-up Magazino receives big investment

Magazino, a start-up rooted in Munich, which was both granted the EXIST grant and founded in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in 2013/14, has just secured a 20,1 million euro investment from the Körber Group. Companies such as Cellcom, Zalando and Fiege Logistik are part of Körber and its financing provided to Magazino is one of the highest investments on a company of its kind in Europe.

Magazino develops and manufactures fully automatized robots designed to help with internal logistics. The company’s machines are able to identify products on a surface such as a shelf and reorganize them within that surface. This technology allows for individual items to be accessed and moved allowing for dynamic storage, commissioning and extreme usefulness for production lines and e-commerce.
By financing the company, investors gain access to its revolutionary take on logistics and create new possibilities for themselves in this field.
