Honorary Professor Prof. Dr. h. c. Rudolf Faltermeier was elected chairman of the International Advisory Board of the UNECON
TUM School of Management’s honorary professor and member of the Advisory Board Prof. Dr. h. c. Rudolf Faltermeier was elected chairman of the International Advisory Board of the St. Petersburg State University of Economics (UNECON).
Prof. Dr. h. c. Rudolf Faltermeier is a lawyer, accountant and auditor and former vice president of the Bavaria Savings Bank Association (Sparkassenverband Bayern). Since 2009 he is member of the Advisory Board at TUM School of Management. The Advisory Board is a founding institution of the TUM School of Management, to which leading figures from business, science and society are appointed to advise on departmental strategic affairs.
The UNECON was founded in 2012 as the merger of University of Economics and Finance (FINEC) and University of Economics and Engineering (ENGECON). In 2012 University of Service and Economics (SUSE) joined the alliance. The goal was to preserve best traditions of all three universities thus the new university consists of three Institutes: Institute of Economics, Institute of Management and Institute of Tourism and Service.
