Seven new TUM degree programs in the winter semester
The Technical University of Munich (TUM) is launching a new Bachelor’s curriculum and six new Master’s curricula in the upcoming winter semester. This includes the first two degree programs from the TUM School of Management at the new Heilbronn campus and one at the campus in Munich. Online applications are possible.
Master’s degree program in Consumer Science* (TUM School of Management)
The curriculum of the English-language Master’s degree program in Consumer Science *is composed of elements from Management, Social Sciences and Consumer Science. Unique in Germany, the program conveys how consumers behave in economic, social and ecological contexts.

Master’s degree program Master in Management (TUM School of Management)
The English-language Master’s degree program in Management at the Heilbronn campu*s is intended for Engineering and Physical Science candidates. In the first two semesters the students learn the basics of Management, National Economy and Law; starting in the third semester they can specialize on Management in medium-sized companies, family-owned companies, topics of the Digital Transformation or on Business Law issues.

Young Professional Program Master in Management and Innovation (TUM School of Management)
The continuing education Master’s degree program in Management and Innovation at the Heilbronn campus* and at the Munich campus is intended for young professionals (Bachelor’s graduates with initial professional experience) who are working towards a career at the interface between Management and Technology. The focus is on Management, Innovation, Entrepreneurialism and Technology. Students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in practical projects both in family-owned companies, major companies and in start-ups. Courses are taught in English.

Master’s degree program in Resource-Efficient and Sustainable Construction
The Master’s degree program in Resource-Efficient and Sustainable Construction is a joint offering of the Department of Architecture and the TUM Department of Civil, Geo and Environmental Engineering. The degree program conveys interdisciplinary engineering sciences knowledge and skills with regard to dwindling natural resources, energy efficiency, regenerative energies, newly developed building materials, material efficiency and lifecycle analysis.
Bachelor’s degree program in Bioeconomy
The interdisciplinary Bachelor’s degree program for Bioeconomy at the Straubing Campus for Biotechnology and Sustainability conveys the scientific-technical basics and general content of the core subjects Economy, Chemistry, Cultivation, Process Engineering and Energy Technologies. This knowledge is connected with economic and societal questions in order to facilitate understanding and continuing development of sustainable and bio-based structural change.
Master’s degree program in Agricultural System Sciences
The Master’s degree program in Agrisystems Science at the School of Life Sciences Weihenstephan addresses the biological, technical and economic fundamentals of agricultural systems and their future-oriented design, for example through digitalization, Precision Farming and ecological farming.
Master’s Degree Program Biomedical Neuroscience
The English-language Master’s degree program Biomedical Neuroscience is executed by lectures from natural science institutes as well as from clinicians and clinical scientists and includes project oriented scientific work in the laboratories of the participation institutes. Aim of the program is an intensive education in the field of neuroscience and neuro-psychiatric diseases.
