Singaporean students starting up their experience in the Entrepreneurship Exchange Program
Last winter semester, TUM School of Management welcomed a group of Singaporean students in the Entrepreneurship Exchange Program (EEP) for the 3rd time. They were nominated to start up their entrepreneurial experience in Munich during classes at the Entrepreneurship Research Institute (ERI) and an internship at a Munich Start-Up.
TUM School of Management is one of the 12 partner universities of the NUS Overseas Colleges (NOS) since 2016. Since then, TUM School of Management and Munich Start-Ups welcome students from NUS in the EEP.
End of May 2019, the six incoming students in EEP have organized a dinner as a gesture of appreciation for those who are involved in making this program a success for these students and Manager Peng Kee Gay and Prof. Wong from NUS. Guest speakers were Prof. Wong (Senior Director, NUS Enterprise) and Prof. Dr. Dr. Patzelt (ERI and Vice Dean of Study Affairs, TUM School of Management). Professors and employees of NUS, TUM School of Management, ERI and UnternehmerTUM joined this dinner, as did the mentors of the six Munich Start-Ups. The collaboration of all these parties are making this program a success.
This academic year, the first group of TUM School of Management students will travel to Singapore to take courses at NUS and fulfill a 20-week internship at a Singaporean Start-Up. The nominated students have their focus in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
We are looking forward to a further collaboration between all these parties.
