Test your tech skills at the Tech Challenge

Students of all programs and all semesters are cordially invited to participate in the Tech Challenge, where they can prototype solutions for meeting real consumer requirements and test them with actual stakeholders.The event is supported by UnternehmerTUM, TechTalents and the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology. The kick off event “Challenge fair” with food and drinks takes place at UnternehmerTUM on April 9 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm.

The course is divided into challenges which require the students to combine their knowledge of informatics, robotics, business and other skills such as teamwork and project management in order to find solutions for real world problems. Participants are split up into groups and take part in design and business challenges as well as technical workshops, the program is free and teams are provided with state of the art equipment and a specific budget to work with, as well as they have free access to the MakerSpace and machine courses.

By successfully participating in the course, students receive  6 ECTS (faculty-dependant) and the winner team receives a special prize from partner companies.
