Mensa

  • The new underground cafeteria on the Bildungscampus opened in March 2020 and offers a variety of healthy meals to all institutions on the education campus.
  • With around 700 square meters, the underground cafeteria offers space for more than 690 people. Although located underground, the restaurant is flooded with light, thanks to a centrally located courtyard with 56 seats. The cafeteria is connected to the adjacent auditorium building via a tunnel, thus simplifying catering for events. Outside areas are also available for guests through an inner courtyard.
  • University staff and students have the opportunity to take advantage of the lunch offer of the Studierendenwerk during the week from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It focuses its purchasing on seasonal, regional, fair trade, and organic products. In addition to the regular cafeteria, the building is open.
  • The new cafeteria is located on the campus square between the TUM-Tower, the assembly hall, and the campus bridge. The currently empty old cafeteria in the Forum on the East Campus is also to be converted into a café in order to offer the universities located there a reduced range of food and beverages.
