Mindshift – The New Campus-Magazin

Since the winter semester 2018/2019, the Technical University of Munich has been present at the educational campus of the Dieter Schwarz Foundation in Heilbronn. The focus of the courses is on digital change management, computer science, and family businesses. Research and teaching aim to bridge the gap between computer science and engineering in a dynamic, international environment. Excellence in research and teaching meet the exciting, entrepreneurial challenges in one of Germany’s most innovative regions.

MINDSHIFT accompanies the TUM at the Heilbronn Campus on its way to set impulses for the region. The magazine is published in spring and fall and focuses on the topics of the biannual TUM Talks. This top-class panel discussion at the TUM Heilbronn campus reflects current topics of digital transformation (fall) and issues relating to family businesses (spring). This exchange between science and business is a central concern. The next dates are May 11, 2021, 6 p.m., and October 20, 2021.

We are pleased to present you the second edition to download here. The print edition is available at Campus. Find out more about the challenges facing owner-managed family businesses in the issue of succession or immerse yourself in our new program for continuing education.

In this issue, we also take up the focus of the event, which on May 11, 2021, for example, will revolve around family businesses in transition. The discussion will again be chaired by TUM President Thomas F. Hofmann.
