TUM Campus Straubing receives 7 professorships and a new laboratory building
Since winter semester 2017/18 TUM School of Management offers its Bachelor in Management & Technology at TUM Campus Straubing, where researchers and students focus on renewable resources to replace fossil oil, coal and gas. The cultivation, chemical and material utilization as well as economic aspects concerning the production, marketing and use of renewable resources is placed in the center of their research and teaching. Much progress is made at this study location: Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Wolfgang A. Herrmann, president of the Technical University of Munich (TUM), has presented 7 new national and international professors. Moreover, a new laboratory building was opened, which creates space for 30 work places and 40 internship places.
The new professors are: Prof. Dr. Janine Maniora for the field Finance and Accounting, Prof. Dr. Sebastian Goerg for the area Economics, Prof. Dr. Alexander Hübner for Supply and Value Chain Management, Prof. Dr. Magnus Fröhling for Circular Economy, Dr. Claudia Doblinger for Innovation and Technology Management, Dr. Bastian Blombach for Microbial Biotechnology and Prof. Dr. Jakob Burger for the area chemical and technical engineering.
