TUM Entrepreneurship Day 2018
On June 21, 2018 the start-up focused event TUM Entrepreneurship Day will take place at the Audimax Foyer of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) from 4 pm until 10 pm. Visitors are invited to experience the entrepreneurial spirit of the Technical University of Munich and attend different award ceremonies, such as the Presidential Entrepreneurship Award. In addition, all start-ups and start-up interested parties can take part in various networking opportunities and start-up focused offers.
This year’s event will also feature a brand new video-pitch competition entitled “Ideas in Motion“. Interested persons can send in their pitches in video form and have them compete against other for €500 and an automatic entry into the yearly IdeAwards contest (€15.000 in prizes). To participate, contestants can produce a video not longer than 90 seconds showcasing their team’s idea and send it alongside a 1 to 2 pages-long document explaining its concept, it should highlight the idea’s potential and be convincing on its viability. The video and document need to be sent per e-mail until May 30, 2018 to the event’s representative (Sabrina Schulze email@example.com) and contain the subject “Ideas in Motion 2018”. The 3 chosen finalists will be revealed at TUM Entrepreneurship Day 2018 and the winner team will be crowned. At least one of the team’s members must be a current or former TUM student, alumni, researcher or employee at TUM.

Start-up Consulting: meeting with the start-up consultancy team for questions, drinks and music – without registration
6 – 8 pm Competition & Awards
6 pm “Pitch Perfect” – Live Pitch Competition: live competition between established, high-tech start-up teams competing for money prizes
6:45 pm Award “Pitch Perfect” & Video Pitch “Ideas in Motion”: award ceremony of winners of both “Pitch Perfect” and “Ideas in Motion”
7:15 pm TUM Presidential Entrepreneurship Award: this prize is given out yearly to outstanding start-up projects based on research
8 – 10 pm Workshop & Fair
Start-up Fair: registered projects are presented to guests, mentors and investors
Prototyping Workshop: participants create a product in one minute with limited resources, no registration required
Start-up meets Talents: registered guests looking for a team will be presented (registration ends May 25, 2018).
