TUM School of Management scores highly in CHE University Ranking 2017
New ranking results of the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE) reveal, that students at TUM School of Management are overall very pleased with their study situation in their respective study program here at the school. TUM School of Management reached top scores in 11 of 12 student based categories in the new Business Administration subject ranking published today. Overall the ranking is compiled of 24 categories, including student- researcher- and fact-based ratings. In total TUM School of Management reached top scores in 18 of the 24 rated categories.
The CHE ranking uses various teaching and research indicators depending upon the subject. It evaluates individual disciplines in three-year cycles, including business administration in this year’s round. The universities are consequently classified into three groups (top, middle and bottom) within the individual categories.
TUM School of Management was ranked highly by the participating students. In 11 of the 12 student-rated categories the school reached top positions, including the “overall study situation”, “course program” and “studiability”. In the area of research TUM School of Management scored three top ranks such as “research reputation” and the “number of doctorates per professor”. Top positions were also reached in the international alignment of the Bachelor as well as Master programs.
Overall the CHE, a German think tank, analyzed over 300 universities offering Bachelor degree courses as part of the most comprehensive ranking in the German-speaking world, which is primarily intended to offer guidance to those interested in embarking upon courses of study.
